'05 Toyota Tundra

This year’s Tundra is fuel efficient and more powerful. The 2005 Toyota Tundra has a 4.0 liter V6 with 245 hp. Its performance is as good to compete with the last year’s V8. This shows an estimated increase of 30% power generation then the previous V6 engine.

The V8 has been enhanced to 4.7 liter V8 with 282 hp. Both the engines are now available with six speed manual transmission; V6 also has five speed automatic.

The 2005 Toyota Tundra’s towing capacity is 7100 pounds. It is available in three trims: Regular Cab, Extended Cab and Double Cab. The last one is built on a longer chassis than the other models.

Tundra’s cabin roominess is comparable to the full-size pickups. The rear seat in the Double folds and provide tight lockable space for cargo carriage inside the cabin. In other models, the seats can fold but do not get out of way completely. Seat belts in the Tundra are force limiters and pre-tensioners.
